Episode of Glee about Britney Spears hits record audience

The episode of "Glee," which aired on Tuesday (28), the United States was the largest in the history of music series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. With special appearance by Britney Spears, the whole program was dedicated to the singer: the actors reproduce some of the main videos of the artist, like "Toxic," "Baby One More Time," "I'm slave 4 u" and "Stronger."





A total of 13.3 million Americans watched the episode live on Fox, which gave the production 5.8 points. It was a 4% increase compared to hearing the debut of the second year of production, last week. In his first season had special dedicated to the Madonna and Lady Gaga.

During the screening of "Glee," Britney was keen to comment on the episode on Twitter. Besides praising the performances Kevin McHale, Lea Michele and Heather Morris, the artist also joked that he's afraid of the character Sue Sylvester, played by Emmy winner, Jane Lynch.
