The series focuses on the efforts of Will Schuester Spanish teacher in the school choir rebuild William McKinley in Lima, Ohio, called "Glee Club" (Club of Coral), which was once a source of great pride for all students at the institution. However, the school has no resources to support the choir, which at first only attracts students unpopular and stigmatized.Thus, they need to reach the final of the regional championship of corals to ensure funding to continue working. Amid this, the teacher Sue Sylvester, who coaches the team of cheerleaders from the school, who has won numerous championships, is willing to do anything to hinder the success of coral "New Directions", since it can result in less prestigious and money for your team cheerleaders.
